2021 New Umpire Class
Our 2021 class will run from February 2 through March. The cost of the class is $250 and must be paid in full prior to the first day of class. This course will go over the fundamentals of Little League, High School and Major League rules as well as mechanics for one and two man games.
- All classes will be done via google meet
- Meets will take place every Tuesday from February 2 through March 23 from 8:00pm - 9:30pm. Attendance and participation in the meet is a must.
- Complete all coursework online in the comfort of your own home on any computer, tablet, or mobile device
- Weekly tests to assess your rules knowledge
- In depth rules discussions
- There will be 2 in person, two hour mechanics sessions in Suffolk County, dates in Dec TBA with an emphasis on plate work.
- Plate work dates to be announced at a later date
- Field Mechanics will take place in May over the course of two days, dates TBA.
- At the conclusion of the class you become eligible to start working games and earning money
